I joined Mysella for her first maiden gulf voyage, as I recall a happy ship

Can anyone confirm when and where Mysella was launched and the shell flag raised for the first time? My father filmed this event, he was a radio officer for Shell and is no longer with us.

She was launched at Amsterdam on August 16 1969. As far as raising the Shell flag is concerned, she was completed in February 1970 so about then.

I was a cadet engineer on board sister vessel "SS Marticia" in year 1970, it brings back many nice memories looking at the photographs. All the officers were from UK, I would like to contact them if they are still around. about 7 years ago, the 3rd engineer at that time Anthony Taylor managed to contact me via email. we met up 2 years later in Singapore. Please do contact me. Thanks for the wonderful time on board, I learned a lot from Chief engineer-H.D Jones ?, 2nd engineer Brian Beaumont.
