In 1982, Elk was a STUFT (Ship Taken Up From Trade) for the Falklands conflict, and made three overnight runs into San Carlos water, to land essential stores and vehicles and re-supply rations and ammunition.

Not entirely sure though I believe circa 1978/82. I was at Pin Mill to get this shot.
