Norwegian tanker 'Kronviken' on 1954
Bergen-registered oil tanker "Kronviken" (20,798 deadweight tons, built by Wilton Fijenoord, Schiedam), owned by Wallem Steckmest & Co. A/S, at anchor off Bahrain in July 1972. She was built in 1954 at "Poitou" for Soc. Française de Transports Pétroliers & bought by Wallem in 1971. She was sold in 1975 to Whitesand Bay Shipping Co. of Monrovia & renamed "Al-Shams", and broken up at Gadani Beach, Pakistan, in 1977.
