Taiwanese Naval tug 'Ta Wan' (ATF-551)
Republic of China Navy's fleet ocean tug "Ta Wan" (1,701 tons full load displacement, built by Charleston Shipbuilding and Drydock Co., Charleston, South Carolina, U.S.A.) making her way out of Keelung harbour on 24th May 2013. She was commissioned on 12th December 1942 as the U.S. Navy's "Navajo"-class fleet tug "Apache" (AT-67) - being reclassified as a fleet ocean tug (ATF-67) in 1944 - and saw service in the Second World, Korean & Vietnam Wars. She was sold to the Republic of China on 1st June 1974.
