Tug 'Point Chebucto' berthed at Tug Base,Halifax Harbour.Chebucto is the Micmac Indian name for the bay which encompasses Halifax Approaches, the Harbour and the Bedford Basin.

Great looking tug, our class has been doing projects on the tug all year. Drawing, scantling cals, and stability calc. Our instructor was part of othe design team for the chebucto.
