British cargo ship "Juwara" of 1952

British India Steam Navigation Co's "Juwara" (7,490 tons gross, built by Alexander Stephen & Sons Ltd., Glasgow) at anchor in the Shatt-al-Arab river off Abadan in 1971. She was built in 1952 as "Surrey" for Federal S.N. Co. & transferred (within the P&O Group) to B.I. in 1969. In 1972 she was sold for scrap to Tung Cheng Steel Corp., Taiwan,
