What a shame to see such a Majestic ship in this state. Have very fond memories of three round trips to India from Beira in SS Karanja (prev name under BI) and SS Kampala in the 50/60's

my dad travelled on the ss karanja from durban to mumbai in 1948, I think. I was only born in 1970 and my dad passed away in 1987. I didnt hear much stories about his trip but I would really like to get hold of the passenger list and a copy of it with his name on it. I am also looking for a photo of the ship that he travelled on. Any guidance or help will be appreciated. I thank you.

Traveled to Port Blair from Madras in 1981 to cover Prime Minister of India Indira Gandhi's visit to Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
