Norwegian cargo ship 'Turandot' of 1957

Wilh. Wilhelmsen's cargo ship "Turandot" (8,829 tons gross, built 1957 by Charles Connel & Co., Glasgow) at Hong Kong in 1969. She was sold in 1976 to Bangladesh Shipping Corp. & renamed "Banglar Preeti", & broken up at Chittagong in 1983.

I was motorman apprentice on Turandot from February 1973 to July 1974. Probably one of the best periods of my life.
Will never forget the Doxford main engine......
