Stena Baltica laid up at Lysekil, Sweden
Today, 31 October 2011, I made a special trip 100 km north of Gothenburg to get this picture. Stena Baltica was most recently in service between Karlskrona and Gdynia (Poland), and is flagged in the Bahamas, with Nassau as her registered port.
She was built in 1986 as M/S Koningin Beatrix and began life on the Harwich-Hook of Holland run.
Built by Van der Giessen de Noord, Krimpen and de IJssel, Netherlands.
GRT: 31,910, Length: 164.61 m, Breadth: 27.6 m, Draught: 6.3 m. Engines: 4 x MAN SL40/45 diesels, 19,360 kW. Passengers: 1,200.
