PORT NICHOLSON

Port Liner taken in Glasgow's King George V Dock in 1966.
Built in 1962 by Harland and Wolff at Belfast she lasted all her career with Port Line going to Kaohsiung breakers in October 1979.

I was galley boy on Port Nicholson April 1970 to July 1970. UK to NZ

I went on sea trials as an apprentice fitter on this ship as far as I remember she left from the Musgrave Channel. I served my time from 1961-1966
