PORT ALFRED

Port Line ship in the Huskisson Dock in Liverpool in May 1965. She was built by Harland and Wolff at Belfast in 1961 and was renamed MASIRAH in 1978 when transferred to Brocklebank Line within the Cunard Group.
She went for scrap as MASIR in July 1986.

I sailed on this ship in 1966

I served as a deck boy on the port Alfred Jan 1967 to June 1967 my first ship flew to new York to join her still love her.
