BRITISH JUSTICE at South Shields

BP's tanker at Brigham and Cowan's drydock at South Shields in November 1971. She was completed by Cammell Laird at Birkenhead in 1958 and went to breakers as SALAMIS in 1975.

Over at North Shields can be seen Trident Tankers' ORISSA built by Lithgow's at Port Glasgow in 1965 and the Portugese cargo liner BEIRA built by Burmeister and Wain at Copenhagen in 1958.
